Lay Hands On The Sick They Shall Recover

By |2022-03-30T22:20:19+00:00March 11th, 2022|Healing|

I was attending a healing conference that was presented by Bill Dew. He trained under Randy Clark and some other anointed leaders in the healing ministry. He and his wife Carol, who has now gone to be with the Lord, were teaching us how easy it was to lay hands on each other and command healing to take place in one another’s bodies. The minister then asked if there was anyone in the room who needed a healing touch from the Lord. He told the ones that needed to be healed to stand so all of us around them could lay hands on them. A few of us made our way over to this young gentleman who was standing in our row. He told us his neck was hurting. We laid hands on him and did exactly what the speaker told us to do and say which was simply, “Pain, or sickness leave now!” And we released healing in the name of Jesus. The man smiled and thanked us, and sat down. We made our way back to our seats and I remember thinking “Oh well, at least we tried.” The guest speaker asked those who had been healed to stand up. To my surprise, the man in our row stood up and testified that when our group had prayed for him, he felt a pop’ in his neck. He said that the pain left after we had finished praying for him.

Jesus paid a very high price for us to be healed, both physically and mentally. Whether it be a body pain, an ailment, sickness, or disease, it has all been paid in full so we can walk in complete wholeness. It is such an amazing feeling to be used as a vessel to release His power in the earth realm. When you are born again and abiding in Him, He is abiding in you, He comes out and when He does, miracles, signs, and wonders happen. Once you experience this, you will never want to go back to living for yourself ever again. He wants to heal those around us, and He wants to use you and me to do it.

Mark 16:18 tells us to lay hands on the sick and they WILL recover! At another seminar, the same speaker had us repeat the steps as before, except this time we were sitting in small groups around tables. We were told to pray for someone at our table that needed a healing touch. A lady needed prayer, so we all took turns praying for her. When it was my turn, I started praying for her and I felt God’s healing virtue flow straight out of my hand and off my tongue as I commanded her to be healed in the name of Jesus. The lady also stated that she felt power, too as I was praying for her. She knew that Jesus did something at that very moment, but she was still feeling pain. I knew that God had touched her too, but I didn’t see the immediate healing, so I thought that the prayers must not have worked. On the second day of the conference, that same lady stood up to testify of what Jesus did for her. She excitedly told everyone in the room how God had completely healed her during the night, and that she was one hundred percent pain free when she woke up that morning.

Healing happens in God’s timing. That is why we must walk by faith and not by sight. When we pray for someone, even if we do not see instantaneous results, we must always have faith for them to be healed. It is not by faith in our abilities, but faith solely in Jesus, the Name above every name. His name is above sickness, disease, Alzheimer’s, anxieties, diabetes, lack, and anything else that we might be battling at the time. This verse also says that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father. We need to do our part to help lead others to confess this truth. We must be open to train the body how to lay hands on the sick so they can recover and give thanks to their Heavenly Father who loves us all very much. We must be doers and not just hearers of the Word of God, deceiving ourselves. “Lord, lead us to the ones You would like to heal, deliver, and set free. Give us the words to say and help us to be effective ministers all for Your glory. Amen.”

James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. NKJV

Street Ministry~ Floyd

By |2022-03-30T22:22:57+00:00March 11th, 2022|Street Ministry, Uncategorized|

The very first memory I have of praying with a random stranger, that wasn’t at a place of ministry, was around 2016, but it feels like a lifetime ago. My teenage son was with me while I was getting my tires changed over on my vehicle. It seemed to take forever. Bored stiff from watching everyone enter and exit the tire shop, we decided to go for a short walk. We strolled around and ended up at a fast food restaurant.

My eyes quickly scanned the lobby and rested on a middle aged man who looked down really in the dumps. I was snacking on my fries and chatting with my son, but I couldn’t stop looking in the direction of that man. I just couldn’t shake the feeling that I needed to pray for him. This continued for about five minutes as I kept uncomfortably stealing glances at the downtrodden stranger. Finally my son said, “Would you just go and do what you are supposed to do?” My mouth dropped open! I couldn’t believe he had also heard that I was supposed to go pray for this man.

I rose from my seat and awkwardly made my way toward this stranger that I had never seen before in my life. After a quick introduction, I hesitantly asked if I could pray for him. He looked at me curiously and shrugged permission. I nervously slid into the chair directly across from him. As I did, he looked at me straight in the eyes, leaned forward, and just started sharing his life story with me. He looked like he had waited for this opportunity for a very long time. I sat in disbelief that he would just talk to a random stranger about it all.

He informed me that his name was Floyd and that he had lost his job a while back. He had a great life but after being unemployed his life spiraled downward from that point, even to the point of his being separated from his family. At that point he was at rock bottom and was feeling very hopeless. After getting permission to pray for him, I grabbed his hand and petitioned the Almighty for a turnaround in his life, right there in front of everyone. I asked Father God that Floyd would get an amazing new job, and that he would know without a shadow of a doubt that it was from the Lord. I prayed for some other things too, but I do not remember exactly what they were.

I continued speaking out what I was hearing in my spirit until I felt it was finished. As Floyd looked up, he looked like a totally different person. He sat in awe as the Lord had touched him. As we parted ways, he smiled and thanked me, and I just knew God had touched him in a mighty way.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

Governing Officials

By |2022-03-15T21:42:50+00:00March 11th, 2022|Government|

On December 1, 2019 I dreamt that I was praying for government officials. It was a very long night and I woke up continuing on in heavy intercession for them. We must pray for all of our government leaders and those in office. We pray for the ones who need to be removed from their positions to be uprooted and for the ground to be plowed to ready their replacement. We pray for those that were raised for such a time as this to rise and be placed in those awaiting positions that were set apart for them so long ago, in the blueprints from the throne room. We pray for them to be surrounded by those with wise counsel that hear the words of the Lord clearly, to lead our nations back to God.

Proverbs 11:14 Where there is no council, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. NKJV

We pray without ceasing for the land to be governed with the sons and daughters of God and for the Kingdom to come and God’s will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen!

1 Timothy 2:1-4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Compunction

Word Tremblers

“REPENT for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” Mathew 3: 2

Repent here means to think differently or afterword or to reconsider. But that is not all it means. It also means to morally feel COMPUNCTION.

Compunction is a word we do not hear very often anymore. In the 1828 Webster’s Dictionary it means a PRICKLING of heart; POIGNANT GRIEF or REMORSE proceeding from a consciousness of guilt; the PAIN of SORROW or REGRET of having offended God, and incurred His wrath; the STING of conscience proceeding from a conviction of having violated a moral duty.

The next time that you repent from the heart about a sin, iniquity or transgression take a moment to let yourself feel the sting of hurting God before blurting out a quick,”sorry.” When I used to make my children apologize to one another sometimes they would say it so quickly and non-feeling that I couldn’t even tell what they said. It would come out like, “sosogohhhrry.” In this day and age there is a popular misconception about repentance because of God’s abundant grace and mercy.

We must get back to honoring God with the fear of the Lord, which is having a reverential fear and awe of God. We must be ones who TREMBLE at His word. I. have many teachings on this subject that I will share very soon. God is looking for Word Tremblers! Let us make sure that we tremble at the Word of the Lord!

Isaiah 66:2 “For all those things My hand has made, and all those things exist,” Says the Lord. “But on this one will I look: on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and WHO TREMBLES AT MY WORD.”

My ekklesia hubs (genuine New Testament church) My Church that I am building for this new era:

“I will erupt like volcanos in great power, & will change the climate of governments and cultures in the natural realm.” This will happen in all 50 states & in the nations in the world that have the kingdom ecclesia rooted in it. The new era precedent has been planned and it would be visibly validated. Joel 2 & Acts 2. Volcanos will be the signs that it will be time for the hubs to start up. This will be a sign that justice will be seen in ways we have never seen before.

Inheriting The Desolate Heritages

By |2022-03-15T21:41:20+00:00March 10th, 2022|Land|

Isaiah 49:8 Thus says the Lord: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages.”

This verse is so powerful, as we get to capture a glimpse of the Father speaking, boldly proclaiming one of the advantages that was acquired as Jesus paid the high price, for the legal right, for full restoration of the earth. There is so much more to this, but we are just going to focus on the healing of the land for the purpose of this post. Although this is really for all the lands on this earth, I claim it for our beautiful state of Alaska. I really like how this is the 49th verse of Isaiah and that Alaska just happens to be the 49th U.S. state. There is something amazing about my lifelong state, a powerful destiny on this land, that both residents and visitors can sense in the very atmosphere.

There is so much in this verse about restoration that we cannot possibly understand all at once. Let’s break this verse down to help us understand what it is really saying to us.

“I will preserve You…” Preserve here is to watch over, protect, maintain, keep, and guard from danger. “And give you as a covenant…” Covenant is in the sense of cutting, a compact made by passing between pieces of flesh, an alliance (relation or union between families) , pledge, treaty or ordinance. What was the reason that He did this for us mentioned here in this verse? It says here to RESTORE THE EARTH. Wow. Restore is to establish, become powerful, come on the scene. abide, accomplish, confirm, continue, decree, ordain, set up and to build! Earth is land, ground, territory, region, tribal territory, inhabitants and people of the land.

Four Different Words For Power

By |2022-03-15T21:40:05+00:00March 10th, 2022|Teaching|

In Ephesians chapter one there are four different Strong’s Concordance references concerning the word ‘power’. Although their definitions are close, they have distinct concepts, with completely different meaning.

Ephesians 1:19-21 And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power  which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead & seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality & power & might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

POWER #1 Dunamis ~ Doo’nam’is ~ Force (power of resisting attack, miraculous power, ability, abundance, mighty deed, worker of miracles, strength, and wonderful work.

POWER #2 Ischus ~ Is-khoos ~ Mighty power, forcefulness (possessing for filled with force, motion, or active power) , ability, and strength.

POWER #3 Kratos ~ Krat-os ~ Vigor (bodily or mental strength, intensity of action or effect), dominion, mighty power, and strength.

POWER #4 Exousia ~ Ex-oo-see’ah Force, capacity, freedom, mastery, magistrate, super human, delegated influence or authority, jurisdiction, and liberty.

Early Missionary ~ William Duncan

By |2022-03-15T21:36:32+00:00March 10th, 2022|Missionary|

I just love studying about the early missionaries that came to Alaska in the late 1800’s & the early 1900’s. A friend loaned me this book a while back and I’m so glad that he did! Although some of the missionaries blew it, William Duncan of Metlakahtla did it right. I ended up crying at the end just because his earthly story had ended. I highly recommend this book to anyone traveling to the villages to do any kind of ministry in Alaska.

His life story is told in the book The Apostle of Alaska by John William Arctander. When I searched for it online I found some recorded versions available to listen to for free. I strongly recommend listening to one of these intriguing renditions of the story of this amazing missionary that was stationed in Metlakahtla, Alaska, and turned it right side up all for the glory of God. 🗝🗝🗝

Street Ministry ~ Flowing Streams

By |2022-03-15T21:35:21+00:00March 10th, 2022|Street Ministry|

Before I moved here, I picked up some artwork that I had in the governor’s office in the valley and brought it all with me to North Pole.  I realized that I had two of the same picture in storage, so I listed one of them on the craigslist. I had an interested buyer and when he came to pick up the artwork he told me that he collects pictures of water to find his zen.

This was an open door for me, because I know where true peace is found and that is only in Jesus Christ. I asked him if he ever tried to find peace in Jesus instead. He kinda shrugged so I took advantage of the moment and asked him if I could pray for him. He thought I meant later in my prayer time and so he agreed. I asked him if I could touch him and he said yes. I started praying that He would feel God touch him and as I did I felt ‘POWER’ release out of my hand.

As soon as it happened the guy ripped his hand away and was staring at his hand all surprised and ended the prayer with an amen. I quickly added for him to get saved too and he agreed and thanked me and rushed off. As he drove away I just smiled at God because every time that this guy looks at that picture he’s going to remember this experience. So just because some people do not pray the salvation prayer with you doesn’t mean that the encounter was a failure. God has plenty of His people planting, watering, and harvesting! And ALL the glory goes to Him, and Him alone. So get and and do what He has created you to do in Jesus Name. Hallelujah
